We also continue to strive and challenge ourselves to improve our health and safety performance with a better every day attitude. The NZ Strong team are actively encouraged and empowered to improve our systems and standards by continually making incremental and manageable improvements. We have confidence that our health and safety systems and approach are industry leading. This can be evidenced in our achievement of triple ISO certification in 2018.
H&S Management Certification
Cascade Construction Limited was one of the first NZ construction companies to gain certification against the new worldwide health and safety standard – ISO 45001.
This is a testament to the standard of our health and safety management systems and our approach to continuous improvement. We also hold prequal certifications with IMPAC, SiteWise and Totika.
Health & Safety Culture
At Cascade Construction Limited , we actively involve all our staff, at all levels, in all aspects of the planning and assessment of tasks, risk assessments and management of our health and safety processes. Without the active participation of our people, our systems are only that – systems.
We also continuously provide comprehensive training and encourage up-skilling wherever possible to ensure that our people are the committed driving force behind our health and safety culture.
