The unexpected discovery of asbestos pipes and contaminated soil during excavation and groundwork disrupted the initial timeline, necessitating immediate remediation and mitigation measures. Additionally, introducing design enhancements in collaboration with Kainga Ora introduced complexity, requiring careful consideration, design development, and regulatory approvals.
